Understand the U.S. college system before making decisions within it.

The U.S. admissions process can feel unfamiliar to families educated in other systems because colleges may evaluate far more than grades and exam results.

Summitways helps parents and students understand what matters, how the pieces fit together, and which decisions deserve attention at each stage.

For Students and Parents

Why U.S. Admissions Can Feel Different

U.S. colleges may consider academic rigor, grades, testing, activities, recommendations, essays, personal interests, institutional priorities, and other parts of a student's experience.

For families accustomed to admissions systems driven primarily by grades or examinations, the process can initially feel difficult to interpret.

My role is to make that process clearer so families can make informed decisions without trying to decode the system on their own.
